About
Meet Your Latina Clinical Psychologist & Holistic Therapist
I am a Latina Clinical Psychologist with a passion for supporting individuals, families, couples, and communities across California. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of San Francisco and earned my master’s and doctorate in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. My clinical experience spans community mental health organizations, schools, UCSF Children’s Hospital, and a group psychotherapy practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2020, I have maintained a private practice in Nevada County and throughout California.
As a Latina, I am especially dedicated to working with BIPOC communities, including the Latinx population. I have had the privilege of serving culturally diverse clients in urban, suburban, and rural settings, including nature therapy, home-based services, school-based services, primary care, and outpatient psychotherapy clinics. This breadth of experience allows me to offer an integrative and holistic therapy approach that considers the whole person—mind, body, and spirit through evidence-based and creative practices.
Outside of my clinical work, I am a dancer, yogi, snowboarder, skier, mountain biker, and a lover of nature, animals, and the arts. For the past seventeen years, I have studied and practiced meditation, mindfulness, and spirituality. These personal passions inform my clinical practice, enhancing my skills in somatic therapy, nature therapy, creative self-expression, and contemplative approaches that are strength-based and grounded in a bio-psycho-social-spiritual perspective
